Award Winners Osteosynthese 2012, Rostock, Germany Dr. med. Mark Lenz, Dr. med. Andreas Lenich, Dr. med. Uli Schreiber

Two scientific studies where selected to be honoured. The work of Dr. med. Mark Lenz from Jena in cooperation with AO Research Group in Davos on biomechanical properties of cerclage wires around intramedullary implants received the Best Lecture Award. Dr. med. Andreas Lenich and Dr. med. Uli Schreiber from Munich where awarded with the Best Poster Price for their work on polyaxial interlocking of metaphyseal nails.

Dr. Riyadh Aldeeri for presentation of the paper „Management of Tibia fractures using Expert Tibia Nail (ETN), suprapatellar vs. Infrapatellar Approach“

Dr. Aslihan Durak for presentation of the paper „Comparison of intramedullary nailing versus plate fixation in distal tibia shaft fractures “

Best Poster Presentation

Dr. Dian Enchev for presentation of the paper „LCP fixation and intramedullary augmentation with frozen fibular graft for femoral pseudarthrosis“

Awards

We regularly honor best presentations at our annual congresses with prize money up to 1500 Euro and publications in the journal INJURY.

Injury

  1. Go to www.injuryjournal.com and click on Register and Activate Your Subscription in the banner at the top right.

  3. If you've already registered, you can sign in.
  4. On the Claim Your Online Access page click the option, I received a special promotional offer.
  5. In the Account Number field, enter GKS-INJURY. In the Last Name field, enter MEMBER. Click Claim.
  6. On the Online Access Claimed page, you can click the Injury link or Finish; both links will direct you to the journal home page.
